Chapter Seven

Kennedy

I can’t believe that I am currently cuddling with Ian Lauder on the couch in his office. Remembering all of the things that he just did to me on this couch has me ready for round two. I can feel his come leaking out of me and realizing that he took me bare has me squeezing my legs tighter together. Visions of me pregnant with Ian’s baby has me letting out a small moan and I feel Ian tense against me before he pulls me so that I’m draped over his body.

I fold my hands on top of his chest, resting my chin on them and staring down at him. He pushes some of my dark hair out of my face and I smile down at him. This feels like a dream and I wonder if I should pinch myself. I decide against it. If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up. His hands run up and down my spine before they slip down, cupping my ass.

“Tell me about yourself.” He demands.

“Like what?” I ask.

I was worried that I would be too nervous around him to get out a coherent sentence but after my orgasm, I feel relaxed and calm. I still use short sentences, force of habit, but Ian doesn’t seem to mind.

“Everything. I want to know everything about you.”

I smile down at him before I pretend to try to think of something to say.

He tickles my ribs and I giggle, squirming on top of him.

I take a deep breath before I start to tell him about myself. I tell him about losing my parents and growing up with my grandparents, about my accident and the therapy and recovery after. I explain that sometimes I mix up words and I talk slower than most people. He holds me tight through it all, only taking his hands away when I show him my scar. He kisses it slightly before his arms wrap around my waist and he holds me tight to him.

I get to ask him questions about himself too and he tells me about his childhood and how he’s always been interested in computers. He tells me that he never had that many friends and then about starting the company in college. I try to lighten the mood and ask him what his favorite foods and movies are.

“I pretty much eat anything and I can’t remember the last time that I sat down and watched a movie.” He admits.

I shake my head like I’m disappointed in him and he tweaks my nose.

“Why haven’t I seen you around here before?”

“You never leave your office.” I tease.

He smiles softly at me before he goes back to his questioning.

“Why didn’t you introduce yourself sooner?”

“I didn’t know how.”

“You were the one who left me the note asking me to come to the party, right?”

I nod.

“I’m glad you did. I wasn’t going to go otherwise.” He admits.

“I know. Every-one says that you never go.”

“That’s true.” He sighs. “What else do they say?”

I bite my lip, not wanting to admit to the bad stuff.
